History of Rock and Roll Party

This party (singing and dancing encouraged!) will start off in 1955 with Bill Haley and the Comets and go through 1959 with Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, Roy Orbison and Johnny Cash. Then we visit the “Doo Wop Era” and The Big Dance with The Stroll! Enjoy 1960-1964 with Dion, Chubby Checker, Fats Domino, Elvis and so many more artists. Get ready for 1964-1975 with the British invasion, the American bands, “Bubble Gum” music, folk, psychedelic, singer songwriters and more. We will explore dances like Mashed Potato Time, The Swim, The Twist, Limbo, The Alley Cat and others. 1975-1979 introduces us to Disco plus Rock and Roll. Remember The Hustle? This will be an evening you won’t want to miss and be sure to bring your friends! Desserts will be provided for all! Registration is required.
