Time - 10:00 am
End Time - 12:00 pm

An introductory class to the techniques of collage and self-expression. Collage has been used by many artists to reflect historical themes to pop culture. Realistic and abstract ideas trigger memories and contemporary influences. Students will begin with a thematic two-dimensional project assembling cut paper from periodicals, discarded books (that are provided), and personal photos. The three-dimensional collage will be the challenge of covering a small box or object to transform its color and appearance. Registration is required.
